Riddle: An old man lives in an old house in the woods and one day he thinks the time is going backward. He looks at the clock and it says half-past five and then he looks at it again and it says ten past five (and it keeps happening so next time he looks at it says half-past four). He gets scared and runs out of the house and meets up with an old woman and says "What day is it? Is it 11/02?" "It is 10/31," says the old woman. And so he runs around being scared until he looks up and the sun is falling backward out of the sky so he is sure that time is going the wrong way. How can this be?
Answer: The old man has a clock that is accidentally for left-handed people so it goes backwards, and he is so old that the old woman thinks he is a ghost so she thinks it is Halloween, and the old man has run around so much that he has forgotten which way is which so when the sun is going down he thinks it is going up backwards. Time is NOT wrong after all!!

Riddle: Two cats are petrolling the woods when suddenly they both start to sniff the dirt. "Someone from trees gang has been here" says the first cat (who's name is Stringleg). "No.... someone from pond gang has been here" says cat number 2. Who is right and who is lying?
Answer: They are both right! Stringleg is a clever green eye-tabby from pond gang and her other cat is from trees gang, but they don't know that they are from different gangs. They can't sniff themselves so they don't know what the gangs that they are smell like... but they can sniff each other but they don't think they can sniff each other because they think they come from the same gang! So they both think the dirt is a different cat from another gang to the gang that they are.
Riddle: Three animals are in a circle. One of them says "I will see you tomorrow" and the next one says "yes I will see you tomorrow". What does the third animal say?
Answer: The last animal says "I will see you today" because it was in the night and it had gone to tomorrow while they were all talking.

Riddle: A farmer is hungry, so he cooks up some sausages and gives them to his kids. His kids ask him why he does not take off the cowboy hat that he has on but he will not take it off. But as soon as the girl is going to eat the sausages, he says "NO YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED" and then he snatches the sausage and runs away. Why?
Answer: The farmer had a fight with a pig and it bit off his ear which made him angry so he made the pig into sausages for his kids. He does not want his kids to know that he has no ear so he does not take off the cowboy hat. But when he gives the sausages to the girl, he sees his ear sticking out of the sausage. So she is not allowed to eat it and he must get the sausage to the doctor so they can put it back on.
Riddle: A king can only be killed by someone who was not born in a bed (or in a place where people can lie down or even in the water or in space or standing up). The king is very pleased because this means that he can do what he likes and nobody can kill him. But then, somebody kills him. How?
Answer: The murderer was born in an airplane that was going to crash so everyone was floating around in the air (but the driver got the controls to work just in time but only after the person had been born) and it was only possible for them to kill the king after that.

Riddle: You are camping in the woods with your friends and one of them is telling the story about the horse ghost who lives in the woods who breaks people's necks when they go to sleep... but suddenly you stab your friend all the way through their heart to kill them. Why?
Answer: YOU are the horse ghost (but only secretly) and you do not want your friend to tell the story to your other friends in case they find out that you are the horse ghost. (You are too clever to break your friend's neck this time because that would be incrementing!)

Riddle: A clown is on the floor in a locked-up room where there is no window no door no secret way in or out. The clown is dead... there is a bullet hole in the clown's body and the blood has gone everywhere. But there is no gun anywhere and you know the clown was not dead when they went in the room. Who killed the clown?
Answer: The clown is actually not a clown but a gun swallower which is like a sword swallower but with a gun, not a sword. The clown had gone in the room when they had swallowed the gun but then the clown needed to burp and the burp made the gun go off inside the clown which killed the clown. Nobody killed the clown (unless the burp is someone) and the gun was inside the clown all along!

Riddle: You have been beamed up by some aliens and now you are in a room where there is a fish, and the alien says "I am doing my experiments on humans and I know that humans like to eat the fish so to win in the test you must prove you are a human and eat the fish! Riddle: Why do two sharks sometimes eat each other?
Answer: When a shark eats someone it makes a ghost inside the shark that can drive the shark around the sea just like if the shark is a van (a haunted van). If you are a ghost that got eaten by a shark then you (probably) do not like sharks anymore. So when you see another shark you must drive your shark into the other shark to eat the other shark. So if both sharks have ghosts in them then they will both try to eat each other.
