Riddle: A bus driver was heading down a street in Colorado. He went right past a stop sign without stopping, he turned left where there was a "no left turn" sign, and he went the wrong way on a one-way street. Then he went on the left side of the road past a cop car. Still - he didn't break any traffic laws. Why not?
Answer: He was walking...not driving.
Riddle: There are two monkeys on a tree and one jumps off. Why does the other monkey jump too?
Answer: Monkey see monkey do.
Riddle: What did the tree wear to the pool?
Answer: Swim trunks!
Riddle: I have lakes but no water, No cars but I have streets; Many places and borders, But I'm in one piece. What am I?
Answer: A Map.
Riddle: When John was six years old he hammered a nail into his favorite tree to mark his height. Ten years later at age sixteen, John returned to see how much higher the nail was. If the tree grew by five centimeters each year, how much higher would the nail be?
Answer: The nail would be at the same height since trees grow at their tops.
Riddle: I reach for the sky, but clutch to the ground; sometimes I leave, but I am always around. What am I?
Answer: I am Tree.
Riddle: A farmer in California owns a beautiful pear tree. He supplies the fruit to a nearby grocery store. The store owner has called the farmer to see how much fruit is available for him to purchase. The farmer knows that the main trunk has 24 branches. Each branch has exactly 12 boughs and each bough has exactly 6 twigs. Since each twig bears one piece of fruit, how many plums will the farmer be able to deliver?
Answer: None. A pear tree does not bear plums.
Riddle: Little Tommy Tittletat took two Ts, to tie two ups to two tall trees, to torment the terrible little tat. How many T's in all of that?
Answer: There are 2 T's in all of That.
Riddle: What has cities, but no houses; forests, but no trees; and water, but no fish?
Answer: A map.
Riddle: Why are Christmas trees bad at knitting?
Answer: Because they always drop their needles.
