Riddle:
I have some matchsticks set up like this: I + XI = X. If you do not know Roman numerals, here is a quick starter: I=1 II=2 III=3 IV=4 V=5 VI=6 VII=7 VIII=8 IX=9 X=10 XI=11 XII=12 XIII=13 XIV=14 XV=15...... Of course, I + XI = X is wrong. You are told to move the minimum number of matchsticks to make the question correct. So, how many do you have to move?
Answer: Most people would get to one move at the least, but the real answer is zero moves. If you rotate the whole question around 180 degrees, it will display this: X = IX + I
Riddle:
A rich man in Arabia died, leaving a note for his three sons. It reads: "I have 17 camels. The big brother can get a half of all, the middle can get third of all, and the youngest can get a ninth of all." The brothers are left dumbfounded, since 17 cannot be divided by 2, 3 or 9 without anything left. How can the brothers solve the problem?
Answer: 1. Borrow a camel from their neighbour to make 18 camels. 2. The big brother takes a half of it, so he takes 9. 3. The second brother takes a third of it, so he takes 6. 4. The youngest brother takes a ninth of it, so he takes 2. 5. All the camels that the brothers took add up to 17, leaving the camel they borrowed!

Riddle:
Jordan is leaving from a small town in Wyoming and hiking through the wilderness to a post where he will spend the summer. The hike will take Jordan six days. One man can only carry enough food and water for four days. Jordan cannot take a mule or any other animal to haul his food and water, because there will be insufficient food and supplies for the animals at his destination.
How can Jordan make it to his destination?
Answer: Jordan takes two other hikers with him. Each hiker starts out with a four day supply of food and water. After the first day, the first hiker gives a one day supply to each Jordan and the second hiker. This leaves the first hiker with a one day supply to go home and Jordan and the second hiker now each have a four day supply again. After the second day, the second hiker gives Jordan a one day supply and keep a two day supply for himself so that he can get home. This gives Jordan a four day supply of food and water, and now he has enough to reach his destination.
