Answer: This is impossible to solve, because if I were telling the truth, then I would be lying, which doesn't make sense since I am telling the truth. If I am lying, then what I said was true and that doesn't make sense either.
Riddle:
Two hours ago it was as long after one o'clock in the afternoon as it was before one o'clock in the morning. What time is it now?
Answer: It would be 9:00 pm. There are 12 hours between 1:00 pm and 1:00 am and half of that is six hours. Half-way between would be 7 o'clock. Two hours later it would be 9:00 o'clock.
Riddle:
Farmer Brown came to town with some watermelons. He sold half of them plus half a melon, and found that he had one whole melon left. How many melons did he take to town?
