A woman named Maria was at the funeral of her mother. She met a nice young man that she had never seen before and after the service, they spent a bit of time together. Then she got busy and didn’t get his name or phone number before he left. She tried to find him, but no one knew who he was or how to contact him. A few weeks later, Maria’s older sister dies and the police suspect murder. Who killed the sister?
Answer: Maria. She hoped the man would show up at her sister’s funeral just as he had for her mother’s funeral.

Riddle:
While stranded in the desert, you come across two creatures offering water. Only, one has no nose, and one has spines. They say that one has poison, and the other will keep you going for a few more hours. Which one can't you trust?
Answer: The one with no nose, for it’s a snake that bears poison. The other is a cactus, which has water in it.
Riddle:
The distance from the Earth to the Sun is about 100 million miles. The speed of light is 186,000 miles per second, and light takes eight minutes to reach the Earth from the Sun. Let's say the Sun rose at 6am this morning, and that by some freak of physics the speed of light is suddenly doubled to 372,000 miles a second.
What time will the Sun rise tomorrow?
Answer: 6am again. After all, what diffrence does the speed of light make to the answer? It's irrelevant- only the speed of the roation of the Earth matters here.
Riddle:
I can carry many though I have no body; I can often be weak but am hard to kill; I shine brighter than any light but you cannot see me; I sing the sweetest music but you cannot hear me; I can bring warmth to anyone no matter how cold it gets. What am I?
