Riddle: A man was shot to death while in his car. There were no powder marks on his clothing, which indicated that the gunman was outside the car. However, all the windows were up and the doors locked. After a close inspection was made, the only bullet holes discovered were on the man's body. How was he murdered?
Answer: The victim was in a convertible. He was shot when the top was down.
Riddle: What grows but never gets taller, shrinks but never gets smaller, hurts the minds of men, doesn't live, but doesn't have a deathbed?
Answer: SOUND. Sound grows and shrinks but, realistically, doesn't do either. Can hurt ears and the brain at certain frequencies. Doesn't live and isn't dead.
Riddle: A little girl named Sasha was left home alone with her butler, chef, and gardener. Sasha's parents went out on a date night and came home and found their daughter stabbed to death. The police questioned the chef first the gardener second and the butler last. The chef said, "I was in the kitchen preparing dinner for my little Sasha I would never do anything to hurt my princess". The gardener said, " I was outside working on the plants...I was about to come in and take a shower". And the butler said, " I was cleaning Sasha's room...I didn't even have a knife on me anyway so I couldn't of killed her". Automatically the cops knew who it was and arrested them. Who and How?
Answer: The butler because the cops never mentioned that she was stabbed with a knife.
Riddle: I'm by nature solitary, scarred by spear and wounded by sword, weary of battle. I frequently see the face of war, and fight hateful enemies; yet I hold no hope of help being brought to me in the battle, before I'm eventually done to death. In the stronghold of the city sharp-edged swords, skilfully forged in the flame by smiths, bite deeply into me. I can but await a more fearsome encounter; it is not for me to discover in the city any of those doctors who heal grievous wounds with roots and herbs. The scars from sword wounds gape wider and wider; death blows are dealt to me by day and by night. What am I?
Answer: A shield.
Riddle: The king of the jungle, rare as gold, black as night, in light not there and night not seen. Goes in water, goes on trees, goes in caves, goes on the ground. Claws of knives, teeth of swords, roar of death but silent as a mouse. What is it?
Answer: A black panther (black jaguar)

Answer: The man's name is Nicholas (nickel us).

Answer: The Truth.
Riddle: I work very hard and never stop. When I stop, life is death. Who am I?
Answer: Your Heart. It has to work hard to pump blood to all parts of your body!
Riddle: In shattered peace I find release. In death, I do delight. Where blood is spilled upon the ground, And men begin to fight. What am I?
Answer: War.
Riddle: I have no mind or a soul. I've been eternally attached since man's dawn. My kind disappear on and off, to everyone I accompany them to their death, and buried with them, then I hide away when the casket shuts. What am I?
Answer: A shadow.
