The riddle goes like this: what has four legs in the morning, two legs in the afternoon, and three legs at night? Answer: A man. When a man is young(the morning)he crawls on his hands and knees(four legs), when he gets older(the afternoon)he walks on his legs(two legs), and when he is and old man(at night) he walks on his legs and a walking stick(three legs).
