Answer: fred was going home from chicago and fred was visiting chicago because he was blind and they had a cure for blindness so he got cured and he could see so he stayed there for a little bit getting used to it then he missed his flight so he went home by train when the train went under a tunnel he thought he couldn't see anymore so there was no point in living therefor he shot himself
