Riddle: There are two rooms. One room has 3 lightbulbs labeled 1, 2, and 3 in it. The other room has 3 light switches labeled 1, 2, and 3 in it. You cannot see one room from the other room. You start in the room with the light switches. You can spend as much time in that room as you want, and you can do whatever you want. When you leave, you can only go to the room with the three lights in it. When you leave that room, you can only go back to the room with the switches in it. After that, you cannot leave that room again. Each one of the light switches light up one light. The switches are not labeled. Now tell me which light switch turns on which light.
Answer: You turn on and leave on the first light. You then turn on the second light. After about 5 minutes, you turn off that light. You leave the third light off. You then go to the other room. The light that is on is from the first switch. The light that is hot is from the second switch. The light that is cold is from the third switch. You come back and tell me.
