Riddle: a man has a boat, a fox, a chicken and a bag of rice. he has to take the fox, the chicken and a bag of rice to the other side of the lake. he can't leave the fox with the chicken cause the fox will eat the chicken. he can't leave the chicken with the bag of rice cause the chicken will eat the bag of rice and he can only take one at a time. how does he get them all across?
Answer: he first takes the chicken to the other side and drops it off. he goes back and picks up the bag of rice. he takes the bag of rice back to the side where the chicken is and drops it off but while there he picks the chicken up again and takes it back. he then drops off the chicken and picks up the fox then he takes the fox to the side where the bag of rice is and finally he goes back and picks up the chicken and takes it to the side of the lake where the fox and bag of rice is.
