Elevator Troubles!

Riddle: A man lives on the 10th floor of an apartment building. Every morning he gets up at 8:00 AM, takes the elevator down to the 1st floor and goes out to work. Every evening, he gets back at 5:30 PM, takes the elevator up to the 7th floor, and walks the remaining 3 floors up to his home. Why does he do this?
Answer: He is a midget, and therefore he can't reach the button for the 10th floor, the highest button he can reach is the one for the 7th floor!
